Rules and Diversity

This series of small tiles is the first exploration of the conflict between our desire to protect what is valuable and dear to us, while limiting our creative urges. We are both protectors and jailers of ourselves. In this series, creative urge is reprsented by the amorphous blots, underneath mesh and contoured around by four sticks. While the same rules apply for all of them, they also exhibit variations. Hence the title.
