Days of the Week

Doodling is a key inspiration for me. I love using highlighter pens and correction fluid. I idly started making boxes. I believe this is a latent feature of my work -- mostly related to compartmentalizing that I practice every day, as I switch my attention from one matter to the next. So I love drawing boxes. On that day, I first drew five boxes, starting painting them with highlighters then adding streaks of correction fluid, while trying to maintain the segregation with red lines. I then realized I have 5 boxes and they may well correspond to the workdays of a week. I loved my sketch! However, in transplanting it to the big canvas, I took a more systematic approach to the colors. You decide if I made justice to my own sketch...
